Chaz

Jerri Israel adopted Chaz when he was a baby from Cambodia, with her then husband, Jeff. He was underweight, but nothing seemed wrong. Since then, 6 years has passed, and he has reached the brink of death a dozen times, but he's a fighter. Suffering from muscular dystrophy, osteoporosis, heart disease, sleep apnea, cataracts, and two chronic lung diseases Chaz has had 11 surgeries since his adoption. He's flown Flight for Life four times, and this time, he was in the hospital for more than a month, with his mom and sister, Sequoia right by his side the whole time, staying at the Ronald McDonald House.
